see them all around you
take what your heart has learned
see them all about you
always there, forever with you
and it seems to me
that I was fevered for a time
we were left unseen
to mend the sails and face the tides
like vestigial wings that fold around you
gossamer and brittle in the cold
shadows come to haunt and hound you
you cast their presence everywhere you go
shadows come to us all
the man who's sons we buried
under piles of rubble
under towers of corpses
is a monument
for every dying ember
for every crumbled bridge
the cure we most desire
lies in a place besieged
boots split the ground
leave it soggy with rot
where few have witnessed
and none forgot
I wish you could be strong and free
I wish you never came to harm
outside the light falters
I'll fill the void between your arms
this suffering will break you
it will tear you apart
this sight will leave you breathless
it will break your heart
This one comes with a real filthy and smelly sound.
Doom like Reverend ... uhh i don't know... like a real famous doom band...
The thing is: More Satan and filth! RATMAN
I imagine this being found as a dusty, black labeled test pressing, smelling of bongwater and dried blood... They warp a Neil Young song brilliantly (I think he would approve). And I could see “Children Of The Sun” on the back end of Volume 4. Brian Parker
